# Opus 5 · medium cycling SVG preview

The author used claude -p --model through Claude Code 2.1.280 to request SVG of a pelican riding a bicycle, and published Opus 5.5/Opus 5 comparisons at low, medium, high and max effort. This work is the explicitly labelled Opus 5/medium panel, faithfully cropped; the complete eight-panel original remains a detail attachment. The article reports three runs per setting but publishes one visible output per cell, without its run index. Only eight shown outputs are collected, not 24 reported runs or unseen failed fragments. Source defaults are Opus 5.5 medium and Opus 5 high; the timeline follows those defaults rather than the highest effort or best-looking image. Latency, cost and success summaries are author reports, not a museum ranking or independent reproduction. Only the author-published still preview was recovered, not original SVG code. Motion is not invented and unverified-licence code is not mirrored. Models and attribution are source-reported, not independently authenticated. September 23, 2026 is the original post's UTC publication day; generation dates are unpublished.
